The Logan High School Homecoming Parade will be held on Friday, September 29th. The Logan Wildcats will play the Clay County Panthers in the annual football game beginning at 7:30 P.M. on Midelburg Island at the Willis-Nesbit Stadium. The homecoming parade will take place at 1:00 P.M.; with the lineup beginning at 12:00 P.M. The parade will proceed off the Island and proceed up Main Street, Holland Lane and then it will turn down Stratton Street and back to the Island. Floats can be parked on the track at the football field for public viewing after the parade and at the football game.
Parade entry forms must be filled out and turned in to Brittany Adkins, Family Engagement specialist at Logan High by Tuesday, September 26th, at 10:00 A.M. There is no entry fee to enter the parade. All community organizations, clubs, churches, area schools, and businesses are encouraged to participate. Be sure to wear gold and blue on Friday, September 29th, in support of the Logan Wildcats.

You will receive your orientation for SWVCTC on Wednesday August 23. You do not need to go to SWVCTC.
Parents are welcome on Wednesday August 23!
All ECA Students report to LHS every morning as normal school days. Buses will transport students to and from ECA on a regular schedule.

There are some changes regarding Vaping and discipline this year. Be sure to check them out.


All students will start the day in the Fieldhouse. Staff will release them into the main building for 1st Period at 7:20 am. Students need to be in first period no later than 7:20 am.
Busses will unload near the Fieldhouse Main Entrance.
Those parents dropping students off will need turn right toward Logan Elementary, circle around the high school, and let your students out at Door 6 (across from the tennis courts and junior parking lot) where they will be cheerfully greeted by a staff member.
Students driving to school need to park in the appropriate lot (senior lot is near football field; junior lot is near tennis courts). Exit their cars immediately and enter the building using the Fieldhouse Main Entrance.
Students going to the RRWCTC or participating in ECA must ride the school buses. The busses for Ralph R. Willis Career Technical Center and Southern WV Community and Technical College will run around at 7:30am for the morning session. Afternoon session will run around 11:45am.
Schedules – Student schedules will be available in the Fieldhouse at 7:05 am.
Lunch Reminder - Students may get a free lunch from the cafeteria, or bring a lunch from home when they come to school each day. Lunch deliveries will NOT be accepted again this year.

Technology not picked then will not be available until school starts on Thursday, 8/17.
